Benjamin Barfoot is a London-based filmmaker, director, and editor with over 25 years of hands-on experience across feature films, documentaries, and branded content. A self-taught creative with a background in cinematography, editing, visual effects, and music composition, Benjamin’s work blends technical precision with a strong instinct for storytelling.

He has directed two feature films. Double Date (BIFA-longlisted, nationwide UK cinema release, Amazon Prime) and Daddy’s Head (commissioned by Shudder) and is represented by Curtis Brown and Ian McKnight at Anonymous Content, one of Hollywood’s premier talent management and production companies. Alongside his narrative work, he has spent over a decade directing and editing documentaries for the BBC and Vice, including Panorama and travel films for BBC Studios, Often working alongside investigative journalists with complex or in-depth stories.

Benjamin approaches every project with a deep-rooted enthusiasm and a belief that every part of the filmmaking process, from camera to cut to score, is part of the same emotional engine. Whether working in fiction or non-fiction, his focus is always the same: capturing something honest, visceral, and meaningful on screen.
